We decided to spruce things up and fix some things under the hood. If you notice any issues, feel free to contact us as we're sure there are a few things here or there that we might have missed in our upgrade.
In my experience you can buy roundworm medication pretty easily (have seen it at Wal-Mart) but it's single-species specific. Also, lots of heartworm medication are multipurpose. Heartgard has ivermectin so it not only covers heartworms but round- and hook-worms. Not sure how it works up in Canada but down here heartworm meds are easy to come by.
Heartworm medications I believe are only available from a vet (unless hartz has come out with one), round worm meds you can get at walmart or similar store. Tape worm meds you also have to get from the vet. A lot of round worm meds that you can get from walmart treat just roundworms but where stuff from the vet generally treat for round, whip and hook worms.
I checked PetSmart.com and they're listing a couple of broad-spectrum dewormers, although I haven't used any of them and couldn't vouch for their effectiveness or their safety. The product summary says it gets round-, hook-, whip-, and tape-worms.

P.S. - A quick Wiki of the active ingredient (fenbendazole) says it can be used on "sheep, cattle, horses, fish, dogs, cats, rabbits, and seals."
