I've rescued two Neapolitans and one of them was out of a well known breeder in southern California. The breeder past away and a lot of his dogs went into rescue. I was fortunate to get one of his males. Cannoli was a good dog but had a lot of health issues that are common within the breed.

I had to repost these pics from another thread because this to me is one of the best looking athletic Neos I have ever seen! Just a fantastic looking Neo. I hope they don't mind.
This is Mikey and he is owned by Elysium Fields who is one of our members here.

Hi gang, new member here but not new to Neos. I agree with most of the above. I too prefer a Neo which is more athletic while retaining thick bone structure and wrinkles. The funny thing is, the more expensive the Neo the uglier they are. Most of them are either overweight, have too many wrinkles, and cherry eye. Then we wonder why the breed develops hip problems, eye issues, etc. It's just not healthy or attractive.

I've had two Neos and in the market for another one now. I would have loved to breed my boy Dante but unfortunately I had to neuter him as he developed a tumor in his testicles. Here is a picture of him. The breeder which I purchased him from disappeared off the face of the earth. Anyhow if anybody knows of anybody selling Neos such as this, please PM me.

Thank you for the info. I checked them out, unfortunately that isn't quite the type of Neo i'm looking for. While they are great looking Neos, they are a bit small for my liking. The studs seem to range in the 130-140lb range. A bit low in my opinion.

I just looked at tornabene mastiff page and very cool looking dogs. Im with chuck though they do look CC looking and the fact that some of their bandogges can pass as some of their neos bothers me a bit. either way they sure do look like performance and capable dogs.
