I was confused because some people and vets dont really class a 15 min slow walk as exercise but 5 mins of jumping about definatley is , if alfred is tired he just drops to the floor anyway

I've Apollo (the TM), and Arty who's a New Guinea Singing Dog.

I don't really consider a slow walk exercise, if you're doing a slow wander I'd consider doubling hte time personally, but you have to take into account the pup's stamina and what they're doing. We're lucky enough to have 2 acres, and so I could take him out back to chase robins out of the yard, and catch bunnies, and wear him out.

They are absolutely adorable pups, I have to admit, but then as adults you're left with a giant fluffy dog who's response to commands is to look at you like you've grown horns......"you want me to what? Yah right, going back to my nap now....."

Be careful what you wish for...owning a TM is like....well its like....um its like....Ruth help me out here...ummm...its like having a mother in law in some ways I guess. They love you in their own way, but a way that is mostly known only to them. They ALWAYS know better than you do, they rarely listen and when they do its because it only suits them. You love them but sometimes, just sometimes, you want to kill them. LOL

Oh yeah, they dont do excitement and if they do its only when they decide to not because you want to play with them, only when they want to play with you. FRUSTRATING is another word that goes with TM.
