She is stunning! This is a breed that I would love to get the chance to interact with one of these days... In your experience, how do they differ from the corso in temperment/personality?

You know, I'm having issue answering this question for some reason...

I guess I would say, of the CC I've owned, they have been more "sporty" in temperament and with a higher energy level. The BB I've owned have been less sporty and more "serious" in their protection. Our CC always had a lot of obvious anxiety about being about wanting to be with us, while Our BBs have not been so obvious about it... However, I wouldn't say either breed is more sticky than the other - they are both pretty sticky. Also, our BB have been WAY less dog aggressive than the CCs we've owned.

Keep in mind tho, all the BBs I've owned and all the CCs I've owned have been from a specific line of dogs in the breed, so my experience is limited to only a sampling of dogs from those lines and not the breed as a whole.

Iiiiiinteresting! Thanks for taking the time to answer my fairly vague question :) I'm also curious about size. I seem to recall always having read that BB typically get a bit bigger than CC; is that the case in the dogs that you have?

Um, yea, typically BBs are larger (heavier) than CCs... However, Seco is on the small side. She's not one of those waaaay overdone showBBs.

Love that video-- like two gladiators, LOL. My DDB plays just like your Boerboel; he'll flop down and be chewed on for awhile, then pop up and stand his ground and maybe instigate... a bit. :)

They look very athletic- nice dogs!

And Seco looks great.
