Food for my English mastiff pup

My breeder was feeding him pride brand food. We slowly switched him to Authority large bread puppy food. but sinces we have had all these parasite problems i gave him some canned chicken and rice food. Now it seams the only thing he seems to like is the canned food. Is it ok to give him this canned food and if so whats the best brand. Also what do you guys think of Authority brand dog food.

I haven't heard of Authority but there are fewer foods available to us up here in Canada. I don't think there is too much problem with feeding canned food but it will get expensive fast for a dog that size. Have you tried adding water to your dry food to make it mush? And then you could decrease the water each time you feed so that that he would gradually get used to harder food.
