Handicapped EM Owner Dog Toys

Looking for toys to keep my EM entertained and help him not get bored. The rope toy (tug of war) only works so long. I can not walk very well at the moment, and need a walker to walk. So anything like a tennis ball won't work for us. Thane needs more activity.

Not the same situation but I used a lot of mental games when Kryten was on restricted activity. It really did a lot to keep him both entertained and worn out when physical exercise wasn't an option. It might work for you too. Things like a long stay in multiple positions (sit, down), leave it including leaving a high value treats on his paws, wait (different command from stay here). Hope you feel better.

I thought the same. Play brain games.
Clicker training and teaching the name of objects really tired Max out when he couldn't walk far.
We learnt the difference between a cow and a bear and worked on focus and contact on command.

Hope that's of some use to you.
