Hello From West Virginia

Betty and I have been owned by Mastiffs for almost 13 years. Our Bully, Beavis, passed at 11 years due to cancer in his left nostril. We swore there would never be another dog in our lives but two months later we purchased a beautiful 12 week old Bordeaux, Lindsay. We later learned that Lindsay had been born with damaged kidneys and would probably not live to be two years old. She passed last month at 21 months old. She was such a sweet girl and brought a world of happiness to our lives. The breeder, a very reputable lady, has been very accommodating and gave us a pick from a Bordeaux litter born on March 28. We are fortunate in that there is a waiting list a mile long and she placed us right back at the top. We will drive to Arkansas the end of May to pick up our new baby, another little girl.We had decided on another Bullmastiff before Lindsay became available but the opportunity arose so we opted for the Bordeaux. We have learned that the two breeds are very similar in disposition....I have never seen such devoted and absolutely loving dogs! Betty and I are in our 70's and can hardly wait to bring our girl home.

I am so sorry to hear about your losses. I also wanted to say that I think it is absolutely brilliant you named your bull Beavis :).
