Leonidas Kyleson
New Member
I suppose as part of my intro I'll just paste what I posted in my profile and sorry please excuse my ranting on his health but well.... he just had that appointment and im still ecstatic about it and what the vet (new vet just moved) thought of him. Very happy peppy lady, she was bragging on our boys health and literally jumped up and down. Infectious happiness I'm sure.....i may have to quarantine.
Enter the dog;
English mastiff; Leonidas Kyleson King Of Sparta, EM purebred, AKC pedigree. Intact. Fawn, black mask and melamine markings (most likely somatic mutation/ birthmark) on right hind leg.
He is 7 1/2 as of 10/20
Mid-High toy dive, active and fit at 125lbs.
Just had a vet appointment and the veterinarian was ecstatic about his health, great hips & elbows, clear eyes, great teeth and gums, heart and lungs sounded perfect and some cysts but zero that were worrying or malignant!
Our boy is incredibly healthy and agile at 7 1/2 years old and we are so happy about it!
He is so special to us.
Originally he was my brothers dog and they loved each other and made so much mischief together, sadly my brother died suddenly some years ago and there was just Leonidas left of him and the things he taught him, like how to play tug and steal peoples socks. Since then he's learned a few more things of course, he had a lot of potential when I started him on narcotics detection (had to stop due to some family members... ahem* recreational activities) and how to dart between your legs while you're walking for a "weave" trip.....i mean trick...
