I probably know a few of you already but for those that don't know me...

My name is Mindy. I have 2 dogs. Uallis is a 2 year old English Mastiff and Eddie is a 2 year old Lab. (I'm probably going to have to find an all Lab forum now to even things out...lol ;))

Since this is a Mastiff forum, I'll tell you a bit about Uallis. First of all, for those who may be struggling over how to pronounce his name...haha...its actually pronounced just like "Wallace". "Uallis" is just a Gaelic spelling of it. Like I said, Uallis is 2 years old. He's 31 inches tall and right around 200lbs. He's a really laid back dog and doesn't really demand a lot of attention, although he gets plenty, believe me. ;) He really just likes being with "his people" and he's content. He's NOT an overly affectionate dog, so he definetly doesn't think he's a giant lapdog. He can not stand being cuddled and gets quite huffy if you try, so of course, I have to try to do it all the time. He can be a BIG baby and he likes to pout and I have to say that he has it pretty much mastered. He has his very own couch that is his most prized possession, he does not like to share it. It took a lot of convincing for him to even let us sit on it without try to kick us off of it. The couch is a main feature in most of his pictures you'll find because he doesn't really move far from it unless when he goes on walks or outside to potty.

Uallis is my first Mastiff and I've had nothing but wonderful experiences with him. He was a breeze to raise as a puppy and really is a breeze to have as an adult. I'll always have an English Mastiff in the family...Because of Uallis...I'm hooked for life...:)

So that is Uallis and I in a nutshell. I'm happy to join the forum and look forward to getting to know everyone!
