First let me say that I don't think that I could ever feed this but the prices are stupid cheap.

Big Dan's Trucking, Inc | Altura, MN 55910

They sell downer cows. I have seen were people do feed it and swear by it on the other hand there is also a very vocal group that is vehemently against it.

Anyone have any opinions?

I'd feed a "downer" if I was sure that the cause was say, a broken leg, or similer type of problem. I wouldn't feed a downer that was down for an unknown reason, or a known sick animal. Which is why I don't buy meat from folks who'll package downers because I can't be sure.

I feel the same.

But those prices are stupid cheap!

3 for 3! Not knowing why they were down is what holds me back but damn those prices. Even with shipping it's about 35% cheaper than what I can get.

Wow, that is crazy cheap.

I don't even want to look at past receipts to see what I typically pay per pound. I'll probably end up giving myself a heart attack.

...no thanks...

"A black liquid denaturant has been added to each package"

WTF is "liquid denaturant???"

... apparently an FDA approved dye colorant to identify this as 'inedible' for humans...
One of the reasons I feed raw is to get away from added unknown chemicals.
