Hello everyone,
My dog is 13 months old and has been crate trained from day 1. He sleeps at night inside without any issues (I’m stating to leave him out and he is great), if he has to be inside during the day he hates it. My wife stays home and he is rarely left in the crate in the daytime and if he is it’s only for a couple hours.(he’s actually managed to break out 2-3 times, and when he got out he’s made a mess in our house.)
Being a guard dog I would prefer him to be protecting our house and not be locked away in the crate, but he just can’t be trusted yet… I tried the other day leaving him out for 15 minutes and he started to destroy things.
Just wanted to hear from others Corso owners at what age they were able to leave their dog home alone and if anyone has tips that could help me out and speed up this process.
Thank you!
