Today we got a new fridge so some men came into the house and installed it. because they had to come from outside i couldn't put angus in the yard and we don't crate so he just had to be in the main area with us. when they walked in Angus walked up to them and sniffed their pants. i let him do that for about 10 seconds and then i gave him the "on your bed" command (which he usually ignores) but today he turned around and went straight to his bed. i told him to sit and stay which he also did immediately he sat and watched the men for the duration of the time they were in the house and didn't stand up until they had left and i told him "okay" as the men were leaving they even commented on what a well behaved dog he is. i was ecstatic, i was more excited about how well behaved angus was than i was about the fridge... the long hours training are finally starting to pay off
