Hello everyone,

I am so glad I found this forum. My name is Erika. I am a professional photographer here in Fairbanks, AK. I have the pleasure of being loved by two mastiffs named Maxine and Hooch. They are the product of a local breeder here. Daddy, Max, is a pure bred Tosa and Mama, Rose, is a pure bred Dogue. They are brother and sister but not litter mates. Maxine was born 4-11-11 anf Hooch was born 12-7-11 and was Max and Roses 2nd and last litter. We just love these two dogs to pieces! They're smart, funny, beautiful, mild mannered. We have 2 other dogs, Rottweilers, and Cats and kids and they get along with all of them. Matter of fact Hooches best friend is the cat. They are excellent protectors and super smart. Both of them helped me through my breast cancer diagnosis with their love. IMG_5808.jpgIMG_0128.jpg

Welcome aboard~ Awesome pups! I'm sorry to hear about your illness. Hope you're doing ok. Pups provide the unconditional love and loyalty that is good for the soul and helps us to heal whatever may need healing.

Thank you everyone! My cancer is gone because I opted for the double mastectomy. I am still going through breast reconstruction and have the 2nd step of my surgery in Texas in June. I live in Alaska. We plan on driving this time and making it an adventure. We will take the Tosas with us. Should be a blast. So glad I found this community. I absolutely will never own a different breed of dog. Next we will get another Tosa or a pure bred Dogue

Good to her that you are cancer free! Coming to a good state, TX! Be safe on the road and TX will be extremely hot in June. Titan will only go outside to do his business in the summer and back in he goes.

Yaaay a Tosa owner. Not many around this Forum. One member just got one and I believe my Rott cross to have Tosa in him as he looks remarkably like and acts like a Tosa from what I have been told and read about. Welcome!! :D

I would have 40 if I had enough love to go around to all of them. Right now Maxine and Hoochie are all I can handle. :)
