I've got strings!

His paws are the same size as his legs so his boots never stay on. He does need them because anything under -10C he starts lifting his feet because the ground is too cold for him. Same thing with the jacket. So I made it so they stay on and if one does come off it won't get lost.
I tried to get Kryten a pair of boots, for walks under -25C. The first pair surprisingly was too big and folded under his paws as he walked in them. The next size down just barely got on. His reaction to that one was hilarious. A 200 lb dog litteraly cut down by a bootie. No pictures of that because I was laughing too hard but here's on post walk tonight, unlike Jiggers he loves the cold.

Great pics!
Have you tried Musher's Secret for Kryten?
That's what I have been using. I just antediluvian a physical barrier between his foot and the frozen ground, but it's not to be.

Wow now that's an auto correct. It should say 'I just wanted a physical barrier....'

Gotcha! How do you feel about Musher's Secret? I've never used it, but we go up to my family's recreational home and it commonly gets -30 and below and very, very snowy so I have been considering getting it for our trips up country.

I like it, it is just really greasy on your fingers.

Love the strings idea! Just like kids with the ribbons through the sleeves. HA!

We got Denna's boots at 'alldogboots' .com

They're "Meshies by Barko" - XL fits her fine. They also have an XXL, if you're dog has really big feet. :)

The mesh does wear pretty quick... especially when swimming and the boots twist - her nails dug right through the mesh uppers.... but, luckily they're not too expensive ($28)... I'm going to go order her second pair now. It came in really handy when she had the bandage on her paw over the holidays.

WOW! That's a huge neck! He's a cutie though!
It's the one thing that reminds me he really is a big boy. One thing I never thought of when I chose to get a giant breed was the it could become impossible to find a collar locally that would be big enough. What scares me is that his reeder said the males tend to grow until they're 5 and he turns 4 this month so it could still get bigger.

I love it! Yogi got boots last year and they DO NOT stay on. Well, and beside the fact that he walks like he's wearing snorkling flippers, lol. I will have to try this. He HATES the cold like I don't know what... walking from the car to the school this morning for his therapy visit and he was trying to dash to get inside. It was like 100 feet...

Thanks!
