Thanks. All, we have made an appointment for next thursday. She is going into heat so I hope they can still do it with no complications.

We had to postpone the surgery. She has gone into heat and I am not going to chance it.

We're starting to look into it also now that Lucia has been through 2 heats. She's coming up on her third which I think we'll let her run and then get it done. We're really worried about it too. I hate putting dogs under.

Jade is in being spayed right now. Vet says she has a murmur and is concerned. I am internalizing right now.

Is the murmur a concern because of the anesthesia?

I think so.

Yeah they are considered high risk and a lot of places won't even do surgery with a heart condition like that.

I hope everything goes well!

Everything went well I had a choice to let her stay overnight or come home, I opted for the stay over. I will pick her up early tomorrow.

Great news Mike!! How far out of her cycle did you have her spayed? About a month? I am asking because Zoe just finished her second heat last month and we are going to have her surgery soon. I am super stressed thinking about it! I just want all the swelling to subside before her surgery, if that is even an issue with them, idk.

How is Jade, Mike? Hope the boys are going gentle on her, but, I expect stitches or not, she'd ring their bells if they got too nosey. I'm sending cyber hugs to her: she was a great mom...I loved the whole puppy saga.. AND Odi's love and joy in his puppies was truly heartwarming. I'm so glad that you were able to keep Crusher, too. I know Odi appreciates it, and I'm sure Jade is comforted to have at least one of her pups with her. Hugs to your whole pack!
