Hello to all, just thought i would drop in. We are the proud parents of an English Mastiff she is now 11 weeks old and weighs in at 25 lbs. Was wondering if that is a healthy weight. Our vet says she is in perfect health.

I'm pretty new to Mastiffs but from what i can tell is you can't go by a certain standard these guys are going to be as big as they are going to be in the end as long as their eating and drinking and you can't see every bone in their body or on the other hand you can't see or feel anything due to just being overweight they should be fine don't focus on size and weight just being healthy if your vet says that your pup is healthy he is prob. right he went to school for that stuff not us. hope this helps some My hank was only like 22lbs at 11 or 12 weeks now he is close to 65-70 lbs at 5 months will find out soon he will be getting fixed on the 6th or 13th i need to check his sister from the same litter has 8 lbs on him but he has 2 1/2 inches on her in height

That sounds about right :) As long as she's got a good energy level and doesn't show any signs of dietary deficits you shouldn't have any problems with keeping her weight at a proper level. Just make sure you're feeding her a GOOD food for all life stages or large breed puppies. No regular puppy chow!
