Ka-bar growth chart

Well I think I am going to stop doing his growth chart. I went to another vet to try their scale. It does the same thing it jumps all over the place. It went from 54 to 63 pounds back and forth. After 5 times it ended on 57.5 pounds. So I don't see the point in doing it if we can't get a true weight.

So I guess my growth chart is done then unless I can find a scale at a landscaping place because those are governed by law for rock sales and have to be calibrated often for accuracy.

Try calling a few feed stores in the more country areas of your town. Here, our local farm store, a mom & pop type family store, has grain scales that you can walk your cow, (dog in this case) onto.

He will be 20 weeks on Friday. I am very happy with the Earthborne and how he has filled out and how he is growing. He is eating 6 cups a day of it plus veggies and a little meat but when he is full he stops.

Sorry that's 23 weeks not 22:(

Yeah he is growing but his paws don't seem to be getting any bigger and that concerns me.

Well, I hate to be typing this but I am coming to grips with it. On Wednesday our dear Kabar collapsed and died. He was rushed to the vet but there was nothing they could do. He had a tumor on his bladder that we had no idea was there. The tumor penetrated the bladder wall and his bladder ruptured. I have not cried this much in a long time.

My question for all you folks is this. I have a special needs son and we know that an EM is the very best choice for him. I can not find a reputable breeder that has any puppies right now. I live in SC but I am willing to travel if it is the right situation to ease the pain we all fill and to stabilize my son. I am concerned for the mental health of my son since Kabar slept with him, ate with him and was with him anytime they were home together. If you have any idea where I can find a EM that is a fawn male just like Kabar and has all health testings can you please get in touch with me.

Thank you.

I am so very, very sorry to hear of your family's loss. I hope others here might be able to help in your search for a new dog. Hugs to your family.

Has anyone heard of Thunderbolt mastiffs? They are in Lindsbourg, Ks.I know they ship and I know yt? They have available male pups. They are on FB and have a website. We went out to their farm to visit when we were considering an EM but they didn't have pups at the time.
