Looking for a Bull Mastiff breeder (British Columbia or close to)

Hello,

I currently have my 11 yr old beloved Rottweiler still with me. I have thought about it long and hard whether I should get another dog while I still have him with me to socialize with him and for my dog to have as a companion/teach some rules to on the dog socialization side) and the fact I like and am able to take my dog to work often I'd like to have a puppy to help teach to come calmly to work with me sometimes. I spent 3 days out of the week off grid so would have 180 acres there to play and in my in town days I live right across from a huge beach by the river that is only really used by people who walk their dogs. I have always taken my previous dogs as rescues but I am looking forward to training a puppy and as I work with school kids I have the summer off. I would like to join the St Johns first aid community dog group and do some service type work in hospitals. I would really like to find a good breeder before spring and discuss getting a Bull Mastiff (I'd like a brindle male.) I am willing to fly a dog in or travel to get one as I would prefer to meet the parents and pup.

If anyone is able to please direct me to one or more good breeders I would be very thankful. I am going to take my time as I am still trying to make sure I am not doing my old fella wrong by bringing him company but I feel this is the right time and a good option for him and a new dog.

Thank you in advance,

Jess

And... just because he is so handsome; a picture of Maverick and a awkward sign I found.. seemed obvious but apparently a sign was needed on the trail haha.

Welcome to the forum Jess, Maverick is a very nice looking Rottweiler. Good luck with your breeder search. Sounds like any dog would be lucky to have such a great life that you would provide. Only advice I have is the basics make sure the breeder does all the nessecary health testing. Have a good health guarantee, etc. Good luck!

Definitely a handsome dog! I love Rottweilers!

You know your dog, but some seniors aren't interested in helping with the puppies... too much work. :)

I don't know any bully breeders out that way but have a few friends that are big into bullies and there are a couple of ones on here with some nice looking ones you might want to contact to find out where they got theirs.

Thanks! I recognize a few of those as persons through the Bullmastiff Fanciers of Canada Club I believe was where I have seen them and have contacted.

Much appreciated :)

I was looking at the link and I got my Bullmastiff from Adora Kennels, we've had him now for a little over a year (he's 15 months old now) and he is such a wonderful dog, great temperment and personality. I know that they have brindles there but I don't know if they have any litters planned right now.
