Well said...I too believe we should stop all this slamming and help her out...All she did was ask for help...Good Luck to you Jessica
Can you blame her? She made a mistake and came here looking for help from people that love the breed. She could have just posted the dog on CL or continued on as things were, but she tried to do the right thing and we slammed her. I'm not saying I could give away either of my babies, but people please. The lady asked for help. Have none of you ever made a choice that in the end turned out to be wrong for you and looked for ways to make it right? I can guarantee you she will never make this mistake again, and I can also pretty much guarantee you that the dog will be better off in the next home. Can we please leave it at that and let this thread die?

I am also looking for a good home for my daughter's 3 yr old Cane Corso Mastiff. She just can't afford to keep her house at the moment. She loves the dog, Dexter, and will only allow him to go to a good home. She is in Bensalem, Bucks County, PA. If you know anyone who has the space and time to love this dog please reply. He is crate trained and house broken and well taken care. He is very smart. He knows some tricks. My email is trisha2629@hotmail.com

Jessica, I'm not here to judge you. Everyone's situation is different, and I'm glad that you realize that your dogs current situation is not a healthy one and you want something better for him.
I have a 14 week old EM and it's a full time job and that is with my wife being home all day. But it's the most incredible breed of dog I have ever had the pleasure of owning.
Do you have any pictures of your boy you could post? It might help get the ball rolling.
Good luck I hope it all works out for both of you.

TrishS, I would advise starting a new post with pics. Hope you find a good home. Have you searched for a Cane Corso rescue in your area?
