It's been too long since I updated. Mack was admitted to the vet, and determined to have hypertrophic osteodystrophy. He has a fever of 105.4 and was very lethargic. We had his xrays sent off to a specialist. He was down to 79lbs, and then dropped significantly from there but we never weighed him as we didn't want to lift him and hurt him. He's currently on steroids which are helping tremendously and we are hopeful it's just panosteititis. We have switched his food twice now and have found one with low protein and low fat, but still enough to keep him from the skin and bones he was on the last brand.
He's on a ton of supplements as well. The worst part of it all was having to give up our Saint Bernard puppy for now. Our good friends took her in. We are hopeful Mack will get better so she can come home to us, but in the mean time she is loving life and we get to visit her often. Mack really misses her and we have a hard time keeping him from doing all the fun puppy things he wants to do. He gets hurt really easily.
