Yes, Mateo is a master of the hot summer, lazy, sloppy sit, lol.
I remember when Mateo's hormones started flowing, and his attitude shifted towards other (male) dogs....right around 10 months or so. Up until then, he was everybody's playmate, and everybody's favorite chew toy (there was one dog that loved to just drag him around by his neck rolls--- and Mateo thought it was great fun!).
Then, things started changing a bit... the staring, the the challenges...even his walk became more adult and male-like (i.e. he held himself in a more "assured" manner, if that makes sense.) Anyway, I had to get on top of things before he started making decisions on his own that would end in lots of bloody fights...
I knew ahead of time that this would happen... that most likely his attitude about other males would become more reserved and/or confrontational, but it still caught me by surprise when it did- my bad! After my learning curve, though, things settled down, and we are working as a team again. He still has a few male dogs as good buddies, and of course, a LOT of girlfriends--- the bitches literally swoon and flirt like crazy when they see him, lol!
By the way, when can we see more pics of your Lomu?
