Neapolitan males living together

I have a 22 week old Old English Mastiff/Neapolitan mix and I really wanted to get a pure Neo but I read online that Neos do not do well living with other male dogs. Is this true and is getting another one a bad idea? Or does it just depend on socialization and training as it does with pitbulls and other breeds that get discriminated against? The new dog would be 16 weeks old. I also have a 17 week old female Pitt mix. (I am not going to breed them so both males will be fixed after 1 year of age).

3 puppies under 5 months! Wow. I can't help with your question but good luck with whatever you decide.

I have a big house, a huge yard, and I make a lot of money. I am currently taking them both to positive obedience classes. Chops was potty trained in 2 1/2 weeks. And I get to spend all day with them. The puppies I can handle, I just want to make sure they would get along.

I dont have experience of Neo's but I would be very hesitant in putting 2 males together. It may be fine but then again there is the very real possibility that one day all hell will break loose and you will have to split your pack. A friend of mine has a male TM and is determined to get another male...I am currently trying my best to encourage her to think about a female instead, 2 male TM's could easily be a recipe for disaster.

I think this would be the same as with any breed, the proper training is the big thing,
you are going to have them both fixed so that is good. I have 2 pups right now 5 months
one boy and one girl, they get along fine BUT my 2 year old bitch does try to be very
dominate over the girl pup, they are all in the house right now but I do not leave them
alone for long periods at a time and I know evenually they will have to be seperated, just
make sure you have an area where you can have them seperated if need be.

Thank you all for the advice. I will probably wait. The only reason I was thinking about another boy is because I like to get my dogs from rescues if possible and there is a beautiful male at a mastiff rescue here. Maybe when my first gets older.

I would say you might be better off getting a female Neo, but then you might also have dominance issues with your other female. Maybe it is is best to wait...sorry I don't really have any advice. My pups are both females so I know my next dog will be a male.

I am not 100% sure.. since every dog is different... it is hard to predict weather your dogs will or will not get along once mature... But If you worked very hard on training and such ... who knows... I would be very cautious once they start to hit 8-10 months... as the three will start to struggle for pack placement and at that point... it really wont matter if you have two girls and one boy or two boys and one girl... to be honest, its probably safer to have twoboys then two girls, as girls fight for blood...BUT that being said... if the female is not speyed... that could cause some SERIOUS boy fights too... its hard to say here... If you do it... be ready that there will be a possibility that you will have to seperate them and keep them seperate as adults... and i would never leave them alone together... wouldnt want to come home to a dead dog.
