Just a quick update. Goose got his second round of shots yesterday and weighs 17lbs 9oz. Not really sure how much he should weigh but I think he is a tad underweight right now. I read the directions wrong on the bag of kibble and he only got a cup and a half of food for the day. I'm feeding him 3 times a day one cup per meal. Sound right? Thanks.

Thanks a lot! I haven't been called a sweetie in while. LOL. Seriously though I love that picture. I have to upload another one which I'll be putting in a frame. It's absolutely amazing.

Thanks. Me and the family are off to the local Krisers (all natural dog food store) for some socialization. Oh also Goose got a taste of my other dogs food (Fromm) and has taken a liking to eat and is now being very stubborn about eating. I'm not wasting a huge bag of food so I was thinking about mixing a little in with his blue wilderness. Yes or no. Thoughts? Thanks for the kind words everyone.

When changing food, do a slow transition to prevent diarrhea.

Amount per feeding:

Day 1-4 ¾ cup of old food and ¼ cup of new food.

Day 5-9 ½ cup of old food and ½ cup of new food.

Day 10-14 ¾ cup of new food and ¼ cup of old food

Day 15 Start 100% of new food

Got it. I'm actually only giving him a little bit maybe a quarter cup then the rest of his puppy kibble. Just enough to get the smell in there. I can't believe he would have been this stubborn about food at such a young age. I do see some stubborness in him which I believe is an all around Mastiff trait. So far he's been adjusting pretty well though.
