This is Simba , Jade, & Ruby as babies.. Simba will be 1yr tomorrow Jade & Ruby will be one in 12/7/13.. they are my world I love them like my own kids.. they are so smart and loyal so loving.. I even live them in the middle of the night when they are squishing me because we made the mistake of allowing them to sleep in bed with us and now they think they have to or they will sit at the door and cry at night.. but I feel so safe with them..

Hi thanks for allowing to be a part of this group I got a female DDB for Christmas 2yrs ago she was 6months old when we got her and still with the breeder her and 4 other pups they had never seen the inside of a house and not being feed properly so when we brought her home she was very scared at 1st and I found myself wondering if I had made a huge mistake but within a WK she was adjusted fully potty trained and she had so much love to offer us.. we absolutely love and adore her and with in 6months we bought 3 more 1 male and 2 more females.. they are the light of our lives.. sometimes I think they are gonna eat me out of house and home but I have never felt do safe and secure my husband has worked the night shift for yrs so I find myself and 3 kids home alone at night and they offer a since of security like nothing I've ever experienced.. they each have there own personality and it complements or family so well.. Nala my 1st female is going on 3yrs and the puppies will all be 1yr.. Simba our male turns 1 tomorrow and the girls will both be 1yr on the 7th of this month so imagine raisin 3 Dogue Due Bordeaux puppies at once luckily our oldest Nala is a good momma figure she helps keep them in line and she literally punishes them if they are naughty she had been a blessing in raising them all I can figure is being with her momma and siblings so long she learned from her own mommy.. but here is a cute pick of Napa and simba right after we brought him home..

They are great looking dogs,so cute! friends of ours have a pair of DDB's, they are trying to breed them but she is rejecting the male, he thinks it might be because they grew up together from young pups, they are from separate breeders. Have you had or heard of that happening?

This is a picture of our pups dad, was told he is a bull mastiff, but I'm not sure from pictures of bull mastiffs I've seen, are there variations? doesn't really matter to me, I think he is a good looking dog, he is around 65kgs.

Maybe someone on here can tell me, I've been searching the Internet of mastiff breeds and the closest I've seen to this dog is the South African mastiff boerboel , anyone agree?

Wow two puppies at the same time! You have a heck of a lot of work ahead of you. May i offer a small amount of advice? Make sure you spend a good deal of time training them separately so they are clear about who is who. Sometimes with more than one pup at the same time they will bond more with each other than with their owner. It takes a lot of work with two rather than one as they speak their own language and you need to ensure they speak yours so to speak. IMHO

Thanks, yes, this is our first time with 2 puppies, we have started training them separately are treating them as individual, I have trained 2 previous dogs up to level 4 (hands free) and want these 2 trained also, it's a challenge but they are worth it

Excellent! So glad to hear it. No offence was meant at all. It's not uncommon for people to fall in love with two puppies only to get down the road and find they have no control and they have two massive dog's ruling their life and don't know why or what to do about it and it's the dogs that suffer in the end. Kudos to you. Rather you than me. Lol.
