If he is experiencing diarrhea it is not enough. Get Fortiflora from the vet. Once the bad bacteria take over in the gut, the probiotics in the food is not enough.

TOTW is made with a probiotic they call K9 strain. Is this not good enough?

Depends on when the dog food company puts the probiotics in the food, if its put in then baked, the probiotics can be killed with high heat, some put it on after the kibble is baked which is better. so yes i would add a probiotic but I would change his food as diarrhea is a sign that it doesn't agree with him.

Does he get anything like Bully sticks? They gave Norman awful diarrhea ,I am giving him about a half cup of plain canned pumpkin a day mixed in his food and it has really done the trick!

Thank you all for your inputs. It's more than I had ever expexted. After kicking around ideas with the wife we decided to change the food. We discussed Turkey, Fish, and Lamb. We are going with Fish and also decided to stay with the TOTW brand. They have an adult and puppy mix of the fish mix. I went with the adult and then later noticed it had more calcium and phosphorus than the puppy. I thought that odd. I thought those two things generaly decreased in adult foods.
I looked at a fish formula by Merrick. It's ingredient make up was impressive but the protein was 34%. I thought that was really high. I though, if anything, it would give Titan gas.

Just be careful about changing food again so soon. It could make it worse. I would keep him on the TOTW puppy formula for a while and not mess with his digestive system for a while. If I read your initial post correctly, you are currently on the second type of food in just a few weeks, right?
