  • Welcome back!

We decided to spruce things up and fix some things under the hood. If you notice any issues, feel free to contact us as we're sure there are a few things here or there that we might have missed in our upgrade.

Off to a great start in 2013...

Thanks! Fingers crossed that we got the job done! I am super excited and loved seeing him again. Got to see a puppy out of him and a female with a similiar pedigree as my girl and he was just yummy! Only bad thing was he was a stunning male and I know if the other half sees another nice male I am in trouble ;) since the plan is to keep a female to add to the program.

That is one fine looking boy. If I ever got into the corsos, that would be what I would want for looks. Awesome.

Thanks we are pretty excited about the litter and the prospect of having another good prospect to our program. Dad just pulled through with a big litter so keep your fingers crossed!

I think last count was 11 and I certainly don't want that amount. I am hoping for 8 gives me a good number to chose from and a good variety of temperament. Of course it isn't often that they do as I say.

Anything more than 2 is too much for me. LOL, my breeder had 15 puppies from the last male used as stud. I couldn't imagine dealing with that for 10 weeks or longer.............

Here's to healthy pups

How exciting! What colors do you anticipate the two of them throwing? can they make a formentino?

Thanks! Seven was plenty last time so I hope to jesus that he didn't give me 12 or more puppies or I will be sending them off in gift baskets from my sister's wedding ;)

Kelly I am not sure, I haven't mapped it out in a punnet square as it doesn't as a general rule matter to me the colours but now you have made me curious and I am going to have to do that tonight and see what I get.

Better start looking at options for pups lol. Apollo's litter was 10, Apollo's brother Aslan just fathered a litter with 9 SURVIVING (I didn't ask how many didn't make it)......we're starting to think there's something in the genetics lol. And no, the dam's aren't related.....

Ruth you are not helping my piece of mind! I now want to do the sonogram immediately! We have a waiting list but still lol I would prefer to not have that many puppies. Then I have to look into all sorts of extra stuff just to be crazy prepared :)

^^Nevermind just read your last post regarding waiting list..

We keep a running waiting list if people ask to be put on it. Some end up not wanting to wait and get a puppy from a different breed and others it isn't a good time for them, they would prefer a different pairing, etc. So we always send out an email telling who we have bred to whom and that we will confirm the pregnancy at 30 days into the pregnancy. They are welcome to ask to stay on the list for a different litter or to be placed on the list for the particular litter or they can let us know if they would like to be removed entirely. I have notified our waiting list when the breeding happened, and will email once we are confirmed (if she did take) and they will have to place a deposit then to hold their spot. Only then will I know if I have puppies left that will be looking for a home :)
