Presa pet insurance Uk ??

Homeowner's insurance has restrictions of breeds sometimes, but I've never heard of health insurance not covering certain breeds. Certain breed specific, pre-existing conditions, yes. Not entire breeds of dogs. Heck, they insure mixed breeds. Do you mean that when it asks your breed it's just not listed in the drop down menu? I'd call the company.

It’s not in the list or nothing comes up when you start typing the breed and on some like more than insurance it is excluded the particular breed it tells you at the beginning

I'm sorry, I'm just trying to clarify. So for pet health insurance you're coming across the Presa being specified as not covered? I've never heard of that. I would definitely call the insurance companies and ask questions. Please post back what they say.

Yea when looking for pet insurance to cover health and accident etc. Presas are specifically excluded . I will ring them once I’ve collected my daughter and update . On the compare websites noThing comes up I’ve found one but it’s 96 per month for proper cover !!

I've honestly never heard of that. If you find that they are excluded, please share the reasoning they give you.

I just rang direct to Agria direct as that’s what vet recommended and they said not a lot of Uk insurance companies cover Presa Canario and would only offer me a quote on my chug

Wow. I just did some looking. I'm in the US and I never came across breeds being uninsurable, just pre-existing conditions, etc. It appears the list of breeds that many companies won't insure in the UK is pretty sizeable. How frustrating for you.

I no they try and catch you out for anything Bruno is literally a walking bin and I’m scared one day he’s going to get something that requires surgery to get it out.
