Angel bears its kinda fun! I tell you I'm such a bleeding heart I would try to take every dog that needed a home if I could.

I'm talking to the owner, she's now not sure if she wants to rehome her. Roiling eyes. I'm trying to get her.
I'm surprised the owner is now questioning her decision to not rehome her. In the long run, it's better the girl stays at her home provided they will take care of her.

Or worse because they might get rid of her later when her fila temperment comes in. If they can't handle a puppy, in my opinion they won't be able to handle an adult.

I agree with this as a fila coming into temp isnt gradual, its like someone flips a switch in their brain and BOOM the dog just bit uncle Bob, it happens just like that. You can not predict when it will happen but it will and the people cant believe their eyes as their big slobery goofball has never done this before, they had no idea he would be this way as they were never told about the nature of the breed. Just tell her about what she is in for when the dog is an adult and how much harder it will be to find her a home , so she needs to do the right thing now while she is still rehomeable at a young and adoptable age. Put all kinds of "law suit waiting to happen" senarios into her head, she will change her mind lol.

I sent her this text message, Yes they are very different breed, they are not a dog that will take to new owners well. She's young enough that she would most likely be ok with work but if you waited until she's older she would mostly aggressive to a new owner and could not be rehomed. As you have not socialized her in a key time of her life there most likely she will become very aggressive towards non family when her Ojeriza comes on around one year.

I hope you end up getting her. I think a fila would be a great dog to protect your family in the area you are moving to. It wouldn't need to be roving the property or lose to do its job, but could function fantastically as your family's guardian in the home.

I agree! Betty is using me as an armchair atm tho. Asleep like a little people in my arm next to me.

Clearly you need a fila arm rest....
