Funny, all these pictures are of my oldest daughter and the dogs when the youngest actually spends more time with them. Odd. This first one is my favorite picture. I liked it so well that I framed it. This was on Ella's first birthday.

And then there are these...

That last one is the first time my daughter came home after leaving for college. Al is my special needs boy. He requires structure and routine or his anxiety gets really bad. Her leaving messed with his "normal." I think his face says that he's really happy she came home. Oh! And one more. A lazy Sunday.

Day one and year one. I have pictures in about the same pose of these two every time Colleen came home from college. It's a funny progression.

And the other kid. Mostly with the boxers present and past. This one is the same kid and same dog, but ten years later. I love it.

And this last one. Bringing Leo home after adopting him from animal control. Jess was his final test. When she walked in the room it was like she brought the sun with her. He just lit up. They were best friends though some hard times. He was such a good dog.

Lol, tmricciuto. Jess is a girl, but she'd wholeheartedly agree with you. She tells me all the time that she has to keep her long hair or she looks like a guy. But look! She's a girl! (A volleyball, softball pitching, workout fiend girl.)
It was someone that wanted him to look like a fighting dog. I know exactly where he came from. He was on his way to be euthanized when a worker took the initiative to call me. Pulling him was unauthorized by rescue, but time was short. He's why I was uninvited at that rescue. I figure if you trust someone to evaluate, train, and foster problem or injured dogs that there comes a point where you should trust their judgment. But that's a rant for another time. He ended up living a long, happy life with a perfect family.

Look ... she dresses up as a girl nicely! Hahaha

Ummm...I'll take the blame, but Al Capone said you had a son. I remember in many posts you talking about your daughters. And I think one is diabetic and you had a dog that would alert when her sugars dropped. But oh man...keep the boys away from that one.

Hahaha. You're right! It wasn't you. Why did I think it was? That is so funny. Oops. You are completely right. Both are actually diabetic. And both are beautiful, inside and out. I had no idea that DH and I could produce such lovely beings. It's why we quit after two. 'Cause how can you beat perfection? Thanks for the nice words.
