Question about a pup

Hello everyone,

Let me say thanks in advance for your help. I have a litter of pups that are 5 weeks old. I have one pup in particular who is fawn in the face and legs but his back is awful dark. Im wanting to know if you think his back will lighten up with time. I have tried to research this but have come up empty handed. This is my first litter I thought I was prepared for everything but this little guy has me a little stumped. Would like to hear what the rest of you think I have attached a pic so you can see what exactly Im talking about.167758_157388017643932_100001182056785_280153_3641890_n.jpg

I think you can find certain lines of corsi that come out with this and they call it Carbonation. In some dogs it will go away and others will have black tips. I don't think it is considered a fault with the corso because the dog is still basically a fawn.

Thanks Black for your thoughts it much appreciated. Any one else seen this in an English Mastiff before and know if it will lighten with time or not.

I've never seen or heard of a Mastiff with this colouration before so I believe its likely to clear up, but if it doesn't then at least you will have a very striking animal.

Bentley,

I agree he is absolutely beautiful the way he is. I am assuming it is going to clear up, but wanted other’s opinions. If it does not; all the more wonderful and unique he will be.
