Random Apollo (and Arty) pictures thread

I would love a TM ruthcatrin, but they would probably die in our heat. It was 50c+ here in January! (Over 120f) How do they handle the heat by the way? They would be great with the cold climates!

They shed out their entire undercoat. You can see his skin through the outer coat. Having said that no, they don't enjoy high temps. They can learn to tolerate them to some degree (Apollo's breeder is in Virginia USA, quite a bit warmer than here, and her dogs are mostly out-side dogs), but I'd expect that 120 would be to warm by everyone's standards! I know there's TMs in Aus though, we have a few members on here, and I know of more. Not sure where (off the top of my head) in relation to you though.

I'm so sorry I couldn't take that little girl singer your breeder had. I think she would have made a great addition to our chorus. And I love their compact, sleek little bodies.
I live in Florida; my boss' boss has a TM rescue. She said her girl goes out long enough to potty, then right back in the AC. Over the floor vent. I don't think they would be able to tolerate our house, with no AC.

Heh, Apollo OWNS the AC vets here in the summer, and we don't get over 85 that often!

You'd have had fun with her Ruby, they're a blast, even if they do keep you running!

I actually got the first coyote tail at a dog show, Apollo snatched it off a vender rack as we walked by. Since he NEVER shows that kind of interest in "toys" I had to buy it. After that I did some digging and found a company online to buy more from. I'll find the link if you want.

Products Wool Co. I don't see tails currently listed, but they were very responsive when I emailed them while trying to figure out what I wanted (I ended up picking up a couple tails, and a couple random badly damaged skins, all cheap, with the intention of using them for the dogs).
