RAW fed opinion, Fruits and Veggies or no?

Glad I saw this tread. Gave our EM Zoe a few pieces of raw carrot and she LOVED it. I didn't know it should be cooked or frozen to break the cellulose. She also loves apples. I've only given her a few small pieces. She has also had a small piece of cantaloupe and banana. She wanted more of both but I wasn't sure how much was too much so I didn't give her more.

What are the best "raw" veggies (if any) or fruits are there? Or should I not do any?

You can give them unfrozen, they just won't get as much nutrients out of them.

No grapes or raisens period, no onions, and be carefull with the garlic.

Citrus can be irritating to the system for some dogs, so be carefull feeding it the first few times.

Otherwise you can pretty much feed what you want.

Carrots are a treat for dogs the sugar and flavor seem to be something they like. I give my dogs small coins of carrot and Duncan gets watermelon when I have it. Any other fruit or veggie that I would consider as a food source would be froze or cooked first. But after reading some very interesting opinions and articles I no longer give either to my dogs as they are inflammatory to a dogs system. Same as starches in noodles and rices.
