My dog love is the English Mastiff. We are in Mazatlan, Mexico. I'm am going to a Seminar in Seattle the weekend of the 20th of March and will also be visiting my son who lives in Everett. I'm putting feelers out for a possible Mastiff puppy..... I have the means to take care of a dog's needs such as immunizations and other things..., I just do not have the $800 or more to buy a puppy. Thanks for reading in advance. Cindi

check with F.O.R.M, mastiff rescue, I don't know if they will have a small pup but their might be a young adult out there either in a foster home or shelter waiting for a home.

Try contacting Mastiff rescue groups. Breed specific rescue groups will often transport dogs, sometimes over very long distances (humanely, using volunteer drivers). Next, call all the rescue groups, humane societies, shelters and animal control (pounds) in ur area.

Check craigslist, kijiji, and online ads. Google.

Petfinder is an excellent tool. Enter in breed and it will give u a description and pic of dogs available. Petfinder is predominantly used by rescue groups, humane societies, shelters and pounds.

Lastly, there is always the alternative, providing a foster home to a Mastiff. All breed specific rescue groups are looking for foster homes. It's a short term commitment and all costs are covered - food, vet, transportation. If the dog fits in u can adopt him/her permanently. An added bonus, u free up a foster home so they can rescue another dog who is due to be euthanized.
