Safety vest in Blaze Orange for fall woods running. Any experience?

Have any members taken their dog in the woods during hunting season? Have you used or seen any safety gear that will work with our larger dogs? I have been searching for a vest for my dog to wear in the woods this fall. Doing a lot of searching and not coming up with "THE" solution. I have come across a few that might work but they are mostly designed for dogs that work in the field like Retrievers and Pointers. My pup is a 130 pound Boerboel. Not many people take their Boerboel hunting in the field. Maybe Hog Hunting but that is protective gear. My brother has a couple Weinheimers that love to run. I would like to let my dog run with them if possible.

I will most likely take our dog to the outfitters and see what fits best. I was just looking for ideas that I may have over looked (besides boarding for 7-10 days). Some vests are to small to fit his size, some look like they are not secure for running and will twist and get caught, while some have low visual impact and not enough material for identification .Below are a few that I have found that might work.

Left to Right. Corky's Collar See Me Vest, Filson Reversible coat, Hurtta Micro, Hurtta Polar K9, L.L. Bean

I have only had experience with the Filson Mfg but that was for me. Hurtta appears to make some quality stuff. The L.L. Bean seems the least complicated but still usable. the Corky vest is the closest thing to what I was thinking but there are no reviews let alone a review for a mastiff wearing one. I would spend a little more $ before we go rather then spend $ at the vet for injuries. Any input would be appreciated.

Thanks
Dave

I like the one in the first pic as it seems to have more coverage. Where I hunt a dog that even remotely blends into the surrounding woods is in danger of getting shot so the more coverage the better IMO. Can't tell you how many times I've gotten spooked & nearly shot a cat. TONS of feral cats running around my dad's property where we hunt.

I'm not sure where you found those vests, besides the LL bean one, but have you checked Cabelas & Bass Pro online? I know a store my dad & I use for hunting gear by where he lives is called Fleet Farm & they might even have stuff listed on their site.

This is the one I got Apollo: http://www.ruffwear.com/Track-Jacket?sc=2&category=1132 (in the orange color of course). He's decidedly deer colored, and our property backs onto land that is frequently hunted, so better safe than sorry. The large fits girth size 32" to 48" (it doesn't say that on that site, I bought it elsewhere, same price though). Its held up reasonably well though I'll admit he's not worn it much, we're heading into another hunting season though so thats about to change. How well it would work for running I can't say. I took this picture of it on him in the spring when we got it:

I was just in Fleet Farm the other day and they had a pretty solid selection of blaze orange for dogs. Some were the more complicated belly/brush-guard or harness style but they also sell the much cheaper rain-slicker-with-a-strap style if you're just after pure visibility. There are also blaze orange collars, but that might not cover a large enough area.

See I never saw one in store that would fit Apollo when he came anywhere near adult size, drove me nuts searching for one.

You could go to the fabric store too and buy some blaze orange fleece and some velcro strips.

I took an orange construction vest, size L/XL. I cut it in half (front/back) and kept the back half. Then I sewed on two elastic bands which attaches to 2" Velcro strips - one around the chest and one at her belly/flank area. It is long enough on her body and doesn't move or twist at all. Best part, it costs less than $10.
