  • Welcome back!

We decided to spruce things up and fix some things under the hood. If you notice any issues, feel free to contact us as we're sure there are a few things here or there that we might have missed in our upgrade.

He is currently in foster care in Kansas. His past family surrendered him and they have surrendered other pups in the past. :(

He is a Certified Emotional Support pup.

Info from the rescue:

Sarge has recently been welcomed into the Cane Corso Rescue family. He is currently in a boarding kennel and will be going to his foster family next weekend. As you can see by his photos, he is one handsome 'all natural' boy. In addition to his handsome stature, Sarge is just as beautiful on the inside as he is a certified emotional support mastiff. Sarge has been neutered, micro-chipped, and is current on vaccinations and preventatives for heartworm and fleas/ticks. Our volunteer declares, "this formentino boy is amazing!!! Sarge is sweet and calm and is in fact, perfect!!! Sarge is too cool for school and ready to change someone's life for the better so get your applications in to adopt this hunk of burning love".
Intake Information from the President of Cane Corso Rescue:
Sarge was surrendered to a TX shelter. The owners brought him in IN HIS VEST (he was/ still is a Certified Emotional Support dog for a 13yr old- Google it ). They claim he is "dog aggressive" and kept "getting out" . Mind you, he has met several dogs face to face, including a chihuahua, over the last 2 wks we've had him. He's been great but we've done PROPER INTRODUCTIONS!! Sorry, I'm just sick of people labeling dogs because they themselves are ignorant . Anyway, animal control told me that Sarge has been "in here" several times. Clearly the owners were not capable of owning and caring for this magnificent breed (or any dog at that) On the paperwork they stated Sarge was kept in a garage or yard for up to 13hrs. I'd "get out" too if I was left in a yard or garage for 13hrs everyday. Ugh. Now that I'm on a tirade, what else can I answer . Lastly, these owners have surrendered other family members to this shelter.

Thank you!
