Really appreciate all the feedback everyone. I think I am going to try the ebay 54" just because it comes with the liner and divider. I will let everyone know once It arrives what I think.

Congratulations on your new puppy. Do you have any pictures? I can't help you with the crate - believe in them but dont use them ha.

Have you named her yet?

Hi, I was just curious as to how you manage to not crate. I was going that route but after having to replace the same Verizon cords 3x $99 each time I broke down and got a crate last week. With no problem she goes in and out on her own and relaxes until I let her out. However, I would love for her to continue to have free roam of the house. She's really laid back around the house when I'm there but apparently when I leave she has a party.

both my dogs were adults when I got them, and now are 14 and 10. the 10 year old came with a crate but she wasn't interested in using it, and why bother when she can sleep with me on my bed! ha ha.

The 14 year old was nearly perfect except for a tiny biting issue. And back then I thought crates were cruel. I've since been reeducated.

If I ever got a pup I would def crate.

Oh okay completely understand. Thought you had some magic potion I currently crate Gia twice a day for 1 1/2 and she doesn't seem to mind but I can't wait until she can be trusted with free roam all the time with out chewing through everything in sight.
