  • Welcome back!

We decided to spruce things up and fix some things under the hood. If you notice any issues, feel free to contact us as we're sure there are a few things here or there that we might have missed in our upgrade.

Starting Again

Hello everyone, my name is Anthony and my better half Cathie. We have put the deposit on a DDB pup who at this time will remain nameless as we are trying to decide on name. He was born Feb 8 2014 and we cannot wait for him to be with us.

It has been a long 14 months with no dog in the house. We lost our beloved Coal on December 29 2012 from a car accident where he was a passenger. He was a Lab/Pointer cross that we got from the local shelter as a puppy of 7 1/2 weeks old in December of 2005, hence the name Coal. He was the lump of coal that Santa left for the kids.

Anyway, this will be my second DDB as I had one 20 yeas ago and loved every moment of the time we were together. So much has changed on the nutrition front and I now am looking at the RAW diet. If anyone can direct me to some good comprehensive reading on it I would be very appreciative.

It is going to b a great summer for sure!!

Welcome!
Sweet box of love in that picture. :)

We're new to the raw feeding adventure, ourselves - or at least, this is our first dog to go that route. We started about a year and a half ago, when Denna was 6 months old.

We went "whole prey model raw", and if you google that - and look at the sub forum here, that MusicDeb mentioned ^^ you should get all sorts of information. I'm hooked on raw, now. I don't think I could go back to plain ol' kibble anymore.

The pup is adorable. :)

I also feed Prey Model Raw, and have since I brought Mateo home at 8.5 weeks. Best thing for a growing pup, in my opinion, and could not imagine feeding any other way.

Looking forward to many more pics of the little man...
