I wont lie, it would be kinda cool to have a 1/2 scale exact replica of a Dane. But that just seems odd. Probly gonna spring up 2ft in a month on ya

Then I'll really be in trouble, lol.

According to the breeder he was either second or first boy that had the most substance ( bone structure)

Ruger kinda stalled at that age as well BUT he is hitting another height growth as I type. He has slowed down a bit as far as weight gain goes BUT it seems to be moving again. I weighed him at 8.5 months and he was 149 pounds and he was 31.75 inches tall. I will be weighing him again within the week and I will try to get him measured. So, yes there is growth after 9months. LOL
Yeah D is about 26 inches tall. Last time I weighed her she was 82.2 lbs. She's still very lanky & I think once she fills out she might be right at 100 lbs. I wonder if mastiffs even grow much taller after 9 months.

I bet he'll surprise you! I don't expect D to be very tall but I do kind of expect her to be about 110-120 full grown.

The craziest thing is that Ruger is so trim. I can't see his ribs as a rule but I can when he runs. He eats wonderfully and looks great but has been getting taller so fast that he never looks like he has gained anything. He IS finally beginning to fill out a bit, though.
He pretty much does, lol. I'm expecting the same for Stone.

Ruger is pretty much a giant compared to Stone.

He seems determined to prove from the start that he was going to be one of the BIG boys. It will be interesting to see how he and Kryten compare in a few years.

I love Thor's gray muzzle, my friends 10yr old dane Borris has the same thing. I also got the lanky one of the litter, Shadow is taller than his sisters, but they are wider and heavier.

Thanks for the compliments about my boys. Batz Thor started graying at 8 months. My boy will be 8 this year I hope he makes it to 10 at least. *fingers crossed*

Yes, it will as Kryten has been proving the same all along. :) It is amazing to watch them grow. I am determined to get him weighed and measured this week. He is such a pain in the ass to measure. :-/

That's how my first EM was. She only had the dark mask for about a year then at 12 months started sprouting grey hairs. At 7 years old she was fully grey. That's why I called her a LOL. Little old lady. :)

Hey DD thanks for posting those pictures, I really enjoyed them! Kinda making me wonder if I really need to wait to get a puppy. but yes, I must. I can't afford to feed 3 dogs. so I will wait. I must. I should.....

Loved that last picture as well as # 4 & 5 in the second set.

Lovely pictures of the boys. Made me laugh to see the old man getting down & dirty with the little boy. BTW we call those graying muzzles "sugar faces". I love them.
