  • Welcome back!

We decided to spruce things up and fix some things under the hood. If you notice any issues, feel free to contact us as we're sure there are a few things here or there that we might have missed in our upgrade.

Thane wants to sit on the furniture...

Thane has decided that he prefers being on the couch. He is never allowed on the furniture. But he is a stubborn little guy...

Yep... this is how it all starts....

Denna sleeps where ever she wants now. The first dog who's ever been able to get away with it (and our first full mastiff... coincidence??).

That's a real cutie you have there! :)

Thane has it all figured out! Mastiff Rules - if I see it is mine. Starts with the couch - then world domination. :D Yes we have the same problem - HUGE sectional with almost no room for humans. Guess that means the dog beds are now ours?

I'm just wondering if he is telling us his present dog bed is no longer big or comfortable enough. Perhaps an upgrade might appease him?

From experience - save your money. Once they get comfy on the couch the dog bed goes unused. :) My hubby swore the couch would be off limits - one pitiful puppy face and that was all forgotten. Mastiff's are master manipulators - we call it mastiff mind control.

Mine are not EMs but Presas. I have the same issue, this is what I wake up almost every morning even though they know they aren't allowed on the couch. Lol. Silly puppies!

Here too :) although that's the exception not the rule. He sneaks on it when I'm not looking or not home. If his dad isn't home he stays..shhh don't tell dad

IMG_1485 (640x480).jpgThis is a stealth move on Gertie's part - first one leg, then two and before you know it she's sitting comfortably on the couch (which she is NOT allowed to do!) - LOL

I think the funniest part is the "I know this is technically against the rules, but I'm so stinkin' cute... so look the other way." Attitude. He KNOWS he is working me. I know he does. And so does he.

I will not give an inch! (Perhaps famous last words.)

I remember when I got Mateo as a puppy. My friend (and dog trainer) told me not to allow him on the couch because, "you'll need a forklift to get him off when he's full grown."

Well, the thing was, I wanted him to come up and join me on the couch-- but he wasn't really interested.

Now that he is full grown, he will come up once in a blue moon and snuggle with me on the couch...I love it. :) Of course, it's just a loveseat, so there's not much room once he spreads out, LOL.
