I am fostering a 4yr old male EM. He was left for an undermined period of time in the mid California desert. I was called by a friend of a friend, etc.. to see the dog about 10 days ago. Could not leave him, he was in such bad shape down to 123 lbs, could not get up and that's enough to give you an idea of the shape he was in. Found this forum with all the information ( we normally have Boxers and Bulldogs) so thanks for all your sharing. He is doing well according to the Vet, but still has his not so good days. He is a gentle giant and am seeing some of his personality emerge. Mitch is his name and he will be with us until he is well and can find a forever home.
