He's growing quick. Getting more and more stubborn but still very laid back!

You just wait, the stubborn side will come out more and more. :)

Yeah hopefully I can start taking him for walks every day once the ice melts.
He's at the hot rod stage at the moment as well.

I've been experimenting with kibble in hopes of getting him exposed to all ingredients and flavours and so far he's been doing good on all of them with solid stool. He gets either EVOO or Virgin Coconut Oil mixed in for at least one meal and yogurt for the last meal of the day.
The ones he's been on since I brought him home are:
Acana Chicken and Burbank Potato Actr1um Duck
FirstMate Pacific Ocean Fish
TOTW High Prairie Puppy
Nature's Domain Salmon
TOTW Southwest Canyon

Next on the list once the current bag is done will be Acana Pacifica or something from Eartborn Holistic.

Do you do the slow transition to the new food?

Not as slow as I would like. When I introduce new kibble it's always 50/50.
When old food is about 1/2 or 2/3 gone, I mix in the new one with 50/50 mix and once that is gone they get the rest of the new food and the cycle continues when that one runs low as well.
My Cockapoo seems to appreciate the variety as well.
No itching, scratching or gas.
You guys are lucky in the States that you can get TOTW and Eartborn Holistic for under $50 a bag. Here is it $72.

It's good that his system is adjusting so quickly. Usually a slow transition takes 10-15 days depending on the dog. A fast transition can cause severe digestive upset = diarrhea.

You might want to add a probiotic to his food, i.e. probiotic pill or plain yogurt to help his digestive system out on the food transitions.

Yeah he gets plain yogurt for his dinner every night.
I've been doing the yogurt for years especially when transitioning since Shadow was picky with food as well but anything with yogurt is always a hit.
