Titan's foot boo boo

I posted a couple of weeks ago that Titan had a boo boo foot. I thought it was an insect bite or injury from dremeling at Pet Smart.

My vet told me that it could be a growth in his toe. He gave me cephalexin, animax and duramaxx. He said once the swelling goes away and the toe starts to look better, he wants to see Titan. He said some dogs will jump or hurt their foot and a growth develops. He said if that is the case, then amputation is the only way to take care of the growth.

I didn't get the name of the growth because he said it was a low probability but it's a possibility and he wanted me to know the possibility. When I take Titan back after it starts to heal, I'll get more info and hope it's not a growth.

Please send positive, healing vibes Titan's way...

Positive thoughts going your way! Hopefully it doesn't turn out to be anything too bad. A friend's mastiff had a growth on his paw about a year ago and the toe had to be amputated. It didn't seem to phase Miller, but recovery was hard on my friend and her family since a drugged up, 200 lb baby is a lot to handle. Keep us updated and get better Titan!

Oh no! It didn't seem to look that bad! Hope everything clears up. I'm sure it will. Give Titan a kiss on the lips for me. I love that big lughead!

Oh tell Titan I'll take the slimy kiss if I must. How is he doing?
hehehehehehe... Thank you for asking. The swelling has decreased but not completely. He's no longer limping. Once the swelling ceases completely, back to the vet we go. *fingers & toes crossed* everything is ok.
