I would assume a yogurt with no flavor? I vaguely remember someone telling me it was best to use one that didn't have any flavor added to it. However I could be wrong! When Duchess was smaller I would take a small kong & fill it with canned dog food & freeze it. She loved that. Now that she's bigger she doesn't know what to do with the big kong. We have the black one & I put some peanut butter in it the other day & she would lick it then stand up & paw at it. I guess she couldn't figure out how it worked.
Aww bless her, I can just see it now. Dont worry though, she will soon figure it out if its got yummy peanut butter in it. I think I'll buy two small kongs and do the frozen yogurt thing and see what my two make of it. I may add a bit of natural honey to make it super yummy though. Only 'cause they are spoiled rotten.

Ruth what flavor yogurt? Do you use the large kongs (the black ones) when you do this?

No flavor, just plain. Apollo LOVES yogurt. And I have, but which ever kong is handy when I'm doing it. Or bone, we've a couple hollow white bones floating around, and I've done it with them too.

The kongs yes, just yogurt, the bones I'll 'plug' with peanut butter first though cause they're harder to prop upright in the freezer.

Im going to try it too! I think I will spoil them just that bit extra though and put a bit of honey in with the yogurt too, or peanut butter. Mmmmm.
