Definetly better than nothing, and better than canned (canned has to be heated to be shelf stable). I'd say fresh is better than freeze dried if you can get it, but this works.

Agree with Ruth, 100%. Plus I would think fresh is going to be much cheaper. I know Texas Tripe is usually under 2.00 a pound.

I keep missing the cut of date for ordering. I will get some fresh and maybe just keep the freeze dried for "emergencies".
