Hiya I’m looking for some firsthand experience on feeding TMs. It seems there are many trains of thought regarding protein / fat percentages etc. so I thought I’d ask here given you all have TMs
At the moment she’s on BlackHawk Puppy – 4 cups a day (Came highly recommended) . Our current plan is to take her off puppy and put her on large breed food and see if that slows her down?
She’s currently nearly 16 weeks and 23kgs (about 50 pounds) and I’m worried she might be getting a little too heavy too quickly. Her breeder suggested she’d put on about 1kg each week, but to date she’s put on about 2kgs each week and we are following the instructions on the bag She doesn't look overweight but we've always tried to keep our big dogs lean, and I don't think we're winning
Prior to the kids we had an English Mastiff and an Airedale who enjoyed home prepared meals every day and thrived. Now having an 11, 12 and 13 year old at home we’ve found ourselves committed to finding the best possible “meal in a bag†we can manage for the four legged family members
Any thoughts, suggestions or “stop what you’re doing right now€™s†greatly appreciated
