Araca is basically plain old brindle. The difference between Araca and a regular brindle is how the brindling appears on the dog. Araca stripes are more like a powdering , the stripes arent solid. The amount of the striping and how/where they are in proximity to other stripes. This particular dog's grandmother has some araca striping but the way they connect in some places makes her not a true araca... this dog's father was imo a true araca or as close to it as I have seen in the U.S. I saw one dog in a pic once from Brazil.. the dog had like 3 stripes on the whole body and they were very light powdering... that was w/o a doubt an araca.
