  • Welcome back!

We decided to spruce things up and fix some things under the hood. If you notice any issues, feel free to contact us as we're sure there are a few things here or there that we might have missed in our upgrade.

We have our baby!

IMG_3826.jpgHello everyone! My name is Amy and I've been lurking a bit until we finally brought our boy home. "Grady" is almost 10 weeks now and adorably playful and fairly mellow tempered most of the time. We have another dog, a boston terrier "Gimli", 7yrs old. Three kids, twins (4) and our son (11)... so now we're a big old family with multiple pets. So thankful for this site and all the helpful info! Here are some pics of the new boy.

He's an EM... he's a little on the small side just yet, being one of 11 in his litter but he's growing fast now. He's such a playful little booger and is really finding his personality being home with us for almost two weeks now. ;)

He's a doll! My fiancé had a man insist that our BM was in fact an EM. He's not; we saw both the parents and bought him for a very reputable breeder. But we have also had him called a pug and a puggel, go figure! At 8 weeks old he was larger than either, both in height and weight and he does not have a curly tail, hahaa!

Thanks everyone! We love him. I was worried because he's not a big eater and most people on here say their pup couldn't get enough! Grady didn't eat more than a handful of food today. But I weighed him and he's gained about 6lbs in 8 days so I guess he's getting enough! We had a puppy class today that went great. Just info on training, housetraining and bite inhibition. He'll be a big respectful boy. ;)

@Cowboy - when we had our BM, my husband almsot immediately christened her the "Ultra Pug" and referred to her as such for months. Drove me up the wall but of course Ebony didn't really seem to care much.

@ Marrowshard - That's funny, but I can sympathize with you. If i remeber correctly I heard the pug was bred from mastiff stock.

Ha! I love pugs. It seems there aren't many EM's around here... every one of my friends and strangers have asked what breed Grady is... and most have never seen an English Mastiff when I tell them. What?!!! ;)
