what size will my female boerboel grow to

My female boerboel was 19 pounds at 9 weeks an 2 days now 4 days later she weighs 24 pounds hasn't put on any weight on her belly as she is skinny around that area but is thick everywhere else on her body does anyone have an idea how big she will get my vet said she will be massive

Have you seen the parents? Most pups will fall between there size.

There are always those that will break that rule, but it is generally a good guide.

Be more concerned with body condition than body weight. TWW is right, the pup will probably fall within the weight limits of the 2 parents. However, the growth of the pup depends on the care they receive.

Thanks We feed her on raw food an kibble but you can see her ribs about 3 or 4 she eats a lot but doesn't gain weight on her ribs will she fill out there over time

Yes, she will fill out. Mastiffs continue to grow until 2-3 years of age. Slow and steady growth = healthy mastiff.

What kibble do you feed her? Is the kibble grain free?

What are the calcium and phosphorous levels? High calcium and phosphorous = fast growth.

female Boerboels range between 120 and 150 lbs. If both parents were larger build I would lean to about 140 lbs. Some females I have seen recently are very tall and lanky but I think they had been spayed early. If you are feeding RAW and kibble you should look for a kibble with protein around 20 and very low calcium/phosphorus. I am searching for one in my area right now like this but I have limited sources. Grain free is always best but there are a couple new ones that have grains that are a better source than corn. From her picture she looked a little thin maybe you could increase her fat ratio with pork, fatty beef or hamburger.

She is still skinny put on a bit of weight on her stomach she eats wainwrights kibble now at 14 weeks she weighs 39 pounds

Her weight is perfect if i compare her to mine. They are right about 40 to 42 lbs 14 weeks old today.
