Wilson is 12 months!!!

image.jpg He had his 1 year checkup and weighed at 86lbs. Is he small for his age? I read how other DDB are 100+ by 12 months.

Happy Birthday, Wilson! He looks really good. :)

My DDB was about 115-118 lbs at about one year. So, 86 lbs. sounds a bit on the smaller size, but sometimes you never know with these guys- they have growth spurts, and continue growing and filling out until age 3, usually.

Happy Birthday, Wilson, from Titan! Do not fret about his size. As long as he is healthy, does it really matter? His size will depend on his parent's sizes.

As NYDDB said, he will continue to grow until about age 2-3 years of age.

Titan had a growth spurt a month before he turned 3 yrs old, he gained 10 lbs.

Aww he looks great! And I'm in the same boat as you, my ddb is also a "mini mastiff", at 12 months he weighed in at 96 pounds...5 months later and he is now 97 pounds. But he's healthy and fit, so we couldn't be happier :)

Wilson looks like a very happy dogue :)

Beaux was about 90lb's around his 1st birthday, he turns 2 next week and is 100lbs , he looks healthy I wouldnt worry, he will fill out :) , Beaux is still puttign on weight slowly.
