Woo Hoo She ate her breakfast and....

So pumped right now. Maya ate all of her breakfast and after a few days of observing her behavior I took her out the moment she finished eating and she went poops outside! This is a huge accomplishment since she is so new to our home and learning so many new things. I did have to stand in the kitchen to get her to eat since she seems to be very attached to staying close to me but at least she ate and drank.

Congrats! Especially with a good poop! Ah, the puppy-mommy bond. Yup, the little shadow will be with you for the rest of your life. We call them cling-ons and velcro dogs. I was actually a little sad at nine months when she chose to leave me and slept downstairs. Boo hoo! Oh, it's only now and then, but it's odd to be more than a few feet away from my shadow.

It's flattering when they are velcro at first but annoying later on especially when you are rushing around doing stuff indoors.
Especially smaller dogs cause you can trip on them and both get hurt!
